Way TOO Long!!

So, It has been way too long since I have gotten on here. It just seems like I can never take the time to actually get this blog up and running the way I would like it to. Not much has changed with Todd and I, his birthday is coming up soon and I am planning a little time to ourselves!!! Also, we are coming up on our two year anniversary... HOW EXCITING!!! As far as Orrin goes a lot has happened. First off... HE WALKS EVERYWHERE. He is saying Rampa (Grandpa,) he says mom-mom, da-da, and he calls the puppies and kitties. He has gotten down patty-cake, and especially loves the "throw it in the oven," part! I can't believe he is just about a month from turning ONE!!! Time goes by so fast, and I am so thankful to have such great family that has helped me from day one. We have done some traveling that I will add tomorrow.

ORRIN IS CRAWLING!!!

YAY! As of the 23rd (just two days before he turned 8 months,) Orrin has started crawling! He is moving around everywhere and is into everything!! It is so darn cute though. I will have to put up a video. I have been waiting for this day, but I quickly need to get things baby proofed!!

Little Man Has Strep!!

So this last Tuesday I took Orrin into the doctor because he has a fever that just would not come down. After a strep test, we got the news the little one had strep. Not only that but Orrin is 22 pounds and is 28 and a half inches long!! BIG BOY! Other than that first day he has been alright, other than when daddy gives him his medicine. Mommy is allergic, so I can't even touch it. Onto better news, we have almost got the crawling thing figured out He will get up on all fours, move his arms, but can't quite figure out his legs. I will soon post pictures.

It has been a while since I have wrote anything on this. Orrin is doing very well and getting huge. He is up to 22 pounds and a little over 28 inches long. He is almost crawling, he knows how to move his arms but can't figure out where to put his knees. He is so much fun. We recently got plans to build onto our house and I am so excited. I will have to post pictures. Mothers days is creeping up on us, and I get a bicycle as well as an attachment for Orrin, I can't wait. The hay business is coming to a quick hault and Todd only seems to be running a few days a week. We recently bought a 1955 ford pickup that should keep him pretty busy during this slow time. I will post pictures soon.

Orrin got to celebrate his first Easter by going to his new cousins blessing. I woke up early and got together Todd's and Orrin's Easter baskets. Toddey got candy, a Pez (which he always gets,) and a t-shirt. Orrin got bath toys. We got ready for church and headed of to Twin. Orrin was kind of grouchy, but would stop as soon as the piano would play. We then went on to visit with Todd's family, and then it was off to mine. Grandma and Grandpa got him a book set which I have been wanting from Costco, Orrin loves it of course! We also recently got his 6 month photos! He was wonderful for them and looks so handsome!! He is reaching so well for everyone, and he lets you know if he doesn't want to go to someone. He likes to grab onto mommy and give me open mouth kisses, but hates daddy's! This Sunday we were outside for awhile, Orrin was in the shade, and I didn't even think about sun screen, well when we got home from the in-laws I noticed Orrin was very red. YIKES!! I put on aloe vera he broke out, I put on lotion he cried, so i turned to cool washclothes and lots of water to keep him hydrated. I learned my lesson and went out and bought tons of baby sunscreen!! Bad, bad mommy!

Orrin is sitting UP!!!

I don't know if I talked about this in an earlier post, but Orrin is sitting up all on his own and has been for quite some time now!! I am so excited. He has also started to scoot on his bum, which has to be the cutest thing ever. He hasn't quite got the crawling thing down, let alone the getting up on all fours, but he sure as heck tries!!! I'm so proud of my little man!!

Orrin says DaDa!!

So this morning Orrin and I woke up to a surprise! Todd was still in bed! Well I got Orrin changed and brought him to bed with us before I actually decide I want to get completly up for the day! He kept trying to get Todd, like he always does and started saying DaDa, at first I just thought it was him just blabbling out words, but he kept saying it everytime I would say it. It was so cute! Todd was excited, but I was so so happy!! YAY! He is growing up way way to fast! We also had his 6 month check-up on the 30th! He is growing so big now... he weighs 18 lbs. 10 1/2 oz. and is 27 inches long! He is becoming such a big boy!!
